How to Make an Excellent Cup of Coffee
Water: Choose the best quality water possible. If you can then use cool mineral water. The water needs to slowly warm for the process to work. Do not exceed the valve level. For Americano fill to the valve level. For espresso use half as much.
Moka Pot: Use a Pezzetti moka pot as they are of the highest quality.
Coffee: Choose a medium-fine grind for your moka pot. Fill the basket with coffee and screw the top back on. No tamping is required.
Method: Put the moka pot onto the stove or heat source. Heat slowly so as not to burn the coffee, keeping the lid open. Turn off the heat as soon as the coffee has bubbled to the top. Stir, pour and drink immediately.
Cleaning: Clean after each use using only warm water.
